Honey Lime Fruit Salad

Honey Lime Fruit Salad is one of my favorite & easy recipes to make if hosting or needing a quick, healthy snack to get through the week! Everyone will love this dish and the best part is you can make it the night before and pull it out of the fridge right before you’re ready to serve. Keep reading to see how I made this yummy fruit salad:

Head over to Trader Joe’s and grab your favorite fruits. For this salad, I used kiwi, strawberries, and blueberries. This recipe can be swapped for any fruit that you like. If using apples, I recommend cutting those right before serving, as they could brown if prepared too far in advance.

Pro tip: be sure to purchase organic fruit!

After I washed and dried my fruit using this produce wash, I cut the fruit and added it into my serving bowl. I mix up the marinade of 1/4 cup of fresh squeezed lime juice and 1/4 cup of honey in a separate measuring cup.

To complete the recipe, pour your marinade on top of the fruit and stir until well combined. It’s best to let the fruit soak in the marinade for a few hours before serving so that the fruit can soak up some of the flavor, or as my great grandmother used to say it needs time to “get familiar” 😉

Serve solo as a tasty treat or pair with lunch as a rerfreshing side dish. This also makes a great topping over ice cream!
