The 4th of July has always been about celebration and bringing friends and families together. This year, whether you’re hosting your own gathering or invited to a barbecue or pool party, be sure you come prepared with dishes and drinks everyone will love! From sweet and savory sides to delicious cocktail recipes made with Grey Goose Essences, I’ve put together the perfect list of what to bring to a 4th of July gathering. Below, you can find all the recipes you’ll need this 4th of July!
Recipes
Macaroni salad
What you’ll need:
3/4 cup mayo
2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 Tbsp mustard
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 cup elbow noodles, cooked and drained
1 cup celery (finely chopped)
1/2 cup green bell pepper
1/2 cup red bell pepper
1/4 cup chopped white onion
How to:
In a large bowl, combine the mayo, vinegar, mustard, sugar, salt and pepper.
Add all remaining ingredients and toss until everything is well coated.
Cover and keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
** (This will taste best if made the night before, as it gives the flavors enough time to “get familiar.”)
Red, White, and Blue Dessert Kabobs
What you’ll need:
Brownies (chopped into cubes)
Fresh strawberries (washed and sliced)
Fresh blueberries (washed)
1 bag of marshmallows (cut in half)
How to:
Place brownie on skewer
Add one strawberry slice
Add half of a marshmallow
Finish off with one blueberry
Add leftover fruit to serving dish and enjoy!
Star Spangled Spritzer
What you’ll need:
Grey Goose Essences watermelon & basil
Sparkling water
Cranberry juice
Fresh basil
How to:
Start by making cranberry juice ice cubes the night before (ice cube tray linked below!)
Pour your favorite sparkling water over ice
Add 1½ oz of Grey Goose Essences watermelon & basil
Stir and top with cranberry star ice cubes
(If you prefer it sweeter you can add extra cranberry juice)
Red, white, and watermelon salad
What you’ll need:
Fresh watermelon (cubed)
Fresh blueberries
1 red onion (very thinly sliced)
Feta cheese
Fresh mint
Your favorite balsamic vinegar
How to:
In a mixing bowl, add your watermelon, onion, blueberries, feta, and basil and toss.
Keep refrigerated until ready to serve
Once ready to serve, drizzle your balsamic glaze.
